Can you believe it's only 5 days until Christmas? The air is filled with that special kind of magic that only comes around once a year. Here in Malta, where the holiday spirit is as vibrant as the azure waters surrounding our islands, we're all gearing up for a festive celebration.

This year, the streets of Valletta are adorned with twinkling lights and decorations, turning our historic capital into a real-life Christmas card. The smell of traditional Maltese Christmas treats like "qagħaq tal-għasel" (honey rings) and "imbuljuta" (a sweet chestnut and cocoa drink) wafts through the air, mingling with the salty sea breeze. 

It's not just about the decorations or the food, though. Christmas here is about community, family, and the joy of giving. The Midnight Mass, or "il-Quddiesa ta' Nofsillejl," is a cherished tradition where families gather in churches, their voices lifting in songs of peace and hope. The nativity scenes, or "presepji", are not just decorations but a profound reminder of the story at the heart of Christmas.
