Hello everyone!
Can you believe it's Christmas Day? Christmas can mean different things to different people; a time to celebrate, a time for giving, a time to spend with friends and family.
Some of us may find Christmas difficult this year; for multiple reasons! Many of us were looking forward to this Christmas after last year's cancelled celebrations, only to have to change plans again this year. A sudden spike in Covid-19 cases has meant a Christmas season tainted by the pandemic for a second year running, with family reunions dimmed by the prospect of more restrictions.
It can be easy to forget the real reason for the holidays and get overwhelmed by everything that's going on. And to stress about having the perfect Christmas and buying the perfect gifts. In fact, the best gifts are things that we already have been given throughout the year (love, friendship and support). Christmas is actually about celebrating how we have already received the very best gift of all; Jesus Christ!
I am very grateful for every blog visit and pageview; thank you! So this Christmas, I am wishing you all health, peace, love and happiness. I hope your Christmas is filled with laughter and smiles, spent with the ones you love most, whether in person or via Zoom!
Merry Christmas to you and yours!
