Outfit inspiration - Skater dresses

Hello everyone!

In the Summer I love wearing dresses, especially fit-and-flare silhouettes.  Skater dresses are my favourite at the moment; they are versatile, trendy, and universally flattering.  A skater dress is fitted at the waist and flared out into an A-line silhouette (fit-and-flare), reminiscent of a figure skating outfit.  

The cut of the dress is perfect for just about any body shape.  Just make sure to get the right dress size, nothing too loose or too tight.

How to wear skater dresses:

Skater dresses are really easy to style.  Just add a pair of shoes, and a slim belt to help accentuate the fitted waist even further.  If you want to accessorize, stick to only one patterned piece.  So, if you have chosen a printed dress, accessorize with solids, and vice versa.
