Hello everyone!
I usually
research products I'm going to buy online before I make a purchase, but sometimes
I still manage to buy some products that just don't work for me. So I
thought I'd start a blog series on products that I don't like and regret buying; kind of my anti-favourites!
Nivea BB Cream in Light
The main reason why I do not like this product is that it's to dark and orangey. I am fair skinned, and when I tried this out for the first time, it looked like I had a tan! The second time I used it, I mixed a tiny amount with my moisturise, but it still looked fake. I also didn't like the smell. This BB cream has that signature "Nivea scent" which is fine for body products but, I do not use any scented products on my face. And SPF10 is way too low!
Garnier Multi Lights Kit 4
I wanted to add some balayage highlights to give more dimension to my dark hair. So I
headed to my local supermarket and looked for a highlighting kit. To my disappointment, the store only carries
one kit; the Garnier
Multi Lights Kit 4. It is a DIY auburn
highlighting kit for natural or coloured brown hair. The kit is not meant to be used on very dark
hair tones, like mine, but since it was the only kit available, I decided to
try it out regardless.
The non-drip formula is way too thick. I left it on for 30 minutes; the maximum
developing time. When I washed my hair, I didn't notice any change in my hair colour! I was hoping the change would be more
noticeable on dry hair but still, it is barely noticeable.
The kit doesn't come with a deep conditioner, so I applied the coconut oil deep conditioning treatment I mentioned in my April favourites. I will not be
repurchasing this product, however I must say that the kit did not damage my
hair.

W7 Automatic Eye Liner in Black (Waterproof)
This eye liner
has to be stored upside down, which is very inconvenient for me. The tip dries really quickly, so you have to
be very quick when applying the product.
Once the tip is dry, you have to
leave the product upside down and wait, which is not practical at all.
Maybelline Superstay Powergloss in Citrus Glow/450
This is not a recent purchase. I got this gloss a long time ago, but since this is my first "Products I regret buying" post, I wanted to mention it. The colour is really pretty, a light natural pink. However, I don't like the gloss-side. It's way too sticky and it feels like glue on my lips. The colour is longstanding however, it does not last 12 hours, more like 3 or 4.
Have you ever tried any of these products? Did you like them? Leave a comment and let me know!
