Hello everyone!
For me last month was all about prepping my skin and my hair for "the big event". My brother got married on Friday 25th and I was his witness. :)
Without further ado, here are my April beauty favourites:
Holland & Barrett Aloe Vera Gel Bio Active Skin Treatment + Vitamin E Capsules (100iu)
I usually mix the content of a capsule of vitamin E with a blob of Aloe vera and use instead of my night cream a couple of times a week. During the month of April, I applied this mixture more often than that. Both ingredients help to heal and regenerate the skin. Whenever I use Aloe vera and vitamin E at night, I wake up to glowing, clear, even skin. I LOVE it!  Both Aloe vera and vitamin E can be used for active acne, acne scars, pigmentation, anti-ageing and dry skin among other skin conditions.
Biafine Topical Emulsion
I use this as a spot treatment on any blemishes I get. This product also reduces the appearance of acne scars and hyperpigmentation.
Product description:
Biafine is a water-based emulsion formulated for the dressing and management of superficial wounds, minor abrasions, dermal ulcers, donor sites, 1st and 2nd-degree burns, including sunburns, and radiation dermatitis. Â Biafine provides an optimum moist environment for the healing process and isolates the wound from harmful germs and other external contamination.
Pure Coconut Oil + Suave Naturals Tropical Coconut Conditioner
I melt some coconut oil, mix it with my Suave conditioner and distribute it evenly on my hair. Then I tie my hair in a top knot with a spring hair tie and go to sleep. The next morning I cleanse my hair as usual. This treatment leaves my hair so soft, I don't need to apply any leave-in products whenever I use it. No serum, no leave in conditioner, no anti-frizz cream...NOTHING! This is huge for me, my hair usually turns into a frizz ball as soon as it dries if I don't use any leave-in products. This is by far the best overnight hair treatment I ever used.Â
What were your April favourites? Have you used any of my favourites before? Leave a comment and let me know!
Biafine, could it be a similar product of the Avène Cicalfate cream?
ReplyDelete@Essential Honesty I never used Cicalfate Cream. The two products have different ingredients but similar uses.
ReplyDeleteWell I really liked studying it. This article procured by you is very helpful for correct planning.
