My brother is getting married next Friday so I decided to get a manicure that compliments my dress.  I was worried my nails would break or chip at the last minute so I opted for a gel manicure. Â
Gel manicure is a process that gives you an instant dry manicure that supposedly lasts for 14 chip-proof days. Â It is applied in layers and each layer is sealed under a U.V. lamp. Â

Although I am happy with my nails now, I’m a bit worried about eventually removing the gel.  It’s going to be a lot tougher to remove than a regular nail polish.Â
To remove the gel you either need to soak your nails in pure acetone, which is VERY drying or FILE IT OFF!
