Three methods to whiten yellow nails

Nail polish can leave yellow stains on your nails (and so can nicotine) that can make your hands look very unattractive.  If you have yellow nails, you can use one of these quick, easy and cheap methods to whiten them.

Method 1:
Dissolve a denture-cleaning tablet in a bowl of water and soak your nails for 10 minutes.

Method 2:
Brush your nails with a paste of lemon juice and baking soda.

Method 3:
Make a paste of three tablespoons of baking soda and one tablespoon of 3% hydrogen peroxide.  Apply the paste to each nail.  Leave on for 5 minutes.

Tips:
  • Always wash and moisturise your hands and nails after applying any of these treatments.
  • Before applying nail polish, always apply a  base coat to prevent staining.

Hope you find this helpful! J
