Nails Of The Day (NOTD): DIY glitter nail polish

Hello everyone!

As some of you might have notice (from my previous NOTD posts) I love glitter nail polish.  So today I decided I wanted to try and make my own customised glitter nail polish!

Glitter nail polish is easy to make yourself and you can customise it to your liking.

This is what my DIY glitter nail polish looks like:

If you would like to make your own glitter nail polish, keep reading!

Here's what you’ll need:

• Glitter of your choice (I used a multicoloured glitter)
• Clear nail polish
• Paper funnel

Method: 

Make a paper funnel.  Tip: If your clear polish is full, you should pour some out to make room for the glitter! Or wait until you've used up some of it.

Place the funnel over the nail polish bottle and pour in a little bit of glitter at a time.  Close the bottle and shake well.

 And voilà!  There you have it: DIY glitter nail polish!

This was my first try.  As you can see, the glitter colour dissolved in the clear nail polish giving it a purple tint! 

I actually like the way it turn out!  What do you think?
